Leslie Sansone exercise dvd
I did the Leslie Sansone Walk and Kick dvd for the first time this morning...it was a lot of fun! It's a combination of her walking routine and some kickboxing. I got it for a great deal off ebay...$5 and free shipping. They also sent me a free bonus dvd of her Pilates but I already have it, so I guess a friend of mine will be blessed with it.

Why is it I feel like I am doing this correct and havent seen the scales go down?
I do believe exercise really does help speed things along. My husband is also doing the South Beach and in Phase 1 I actually lost more then he did which has never happened before and the only difference we had was that I exercised and he didn't. I know it sometimes so hard to get started, but if you make time in your schedule and do it pretty consistently you will get to the point to where you really miss it when you do get to do it. I know, hard to believe, but true! Also, I think keeping it different is another key...I usually switch between the several dvd's I have at home so I'm not doing the same thing every day. So give it a try and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

STARTING DIET THIS MONDAY
I think you'll be really happy with the decision you made!! And from someone else who loves to cook...just think of it as a challenge to try out new recipes. I've gotten 2 of the South Beach cookbooks (think library if you don't want to buy them) and have really enjoyed going through them and trying new things.

ideas for breakfast???
Yeah, having an egg everyday is a challenge for me too, so how about some celery with peanut butter or cream cheese and some canadian bacon. Or some lean lunchmeat wrapped in a lettuce leaf...sometimes I prefer to eat lunch type meals for breakfast. Hope that helps some...at least once you get through phase 1 you can add in some fruit or whole grain bagel, oatmeal, etc...so hang in there.

High School Kid in NEED of some Breakfast
How about the sausage & cheese "muffins" or some quiche-to-go. They are made ahead in muffin pans, then all you have to do is heat them in the microwave...quick & simple. With the quiche-to-go you simply put whatever ingredients you like (spinach, broccoli, onion, peppers, etc...) into scrambled eggs, top with cheese and bake in muffin cups until set. The sausage & cheese muffins are basically the same with sausage added in. Hope that helps some!

Need recipies for South Beach breakfasts - I changed my screen name
I'm feeling your pain, but I keep telling myself I can do ANYTHING for 2 weeks! How about eggs? I've really enjoyed having a veggie omelette...spinach, onions, peppers, tomatoes, etc... The thing I miss most is having some fruit with breakfast. I love oranges and grapefruit, but I know those will come soon enough. Hang in there!

ECO Atkins for a skinny vegetarian with a belly
This would be a good question for the nutritionist over on the atkins.com boards. Colette Heimowitz is her name. Post your question with her name in the title and she will respond.

What do you have to be thankful for in life
Today I am thankful to have access to locally grown produce (farmer's market in town) and can have healthy, fresh veggies for the week.

Fruit
Can you do yogurt? A friend recommended to me plain yogurt with splenda mixed in. Maybe try that with some berries. I've been putting frozen raspberries in my protein shake.

Newbie to forum and weight loss
Exactly. That's what made it finally click in my head. I still have a chance to turn things around with my health and I'm going to take that chance and literally run with it.
