Starting Tomorrow!(Am I The Only One?)
By over-indulging before starting a diet, I think it sets you up for failure. To successfully loose weight, I don't think you should have to give up all the good things that you love, just adjust how much you eat them, how often you eat them, and counter balance that with exercise. By having the big meal, you have designated those foods in your mind as "bad", then when you have one (or all!) of them after you have started dieting you feel like you have failed, and that can lead to giving up completely. Good luck to you. I have been following FatSmash for over a month and now I have new favorite foods! Looking forward to your success... Jendy

Adding Left-overs
Would LOVE to have an option of adding "Last Nights Dinner" to the following days lunch, for those of us who eat a lot of left-over! Would make it so much easier than having to re-input everything again. Otherwise - this site is FANTASTIC! Thanks, Jendy

fat smash phase II question
I read it to mean that yes, you can have both each day, at different meals, and not in consecutive meals.

Picking a diet
I have been on Fat Smash for 10 days, and have lost 7 lbs as of yesterday. I haven't suffered at all, and you can eat all the fruits and veggies you want. The first Phase, Detox (don't be alarmed - it's nothing weird!) you basically eat vegetarian. I haven't been hungry, have a healthy snack in the evening, and have lost weight! I highly recommend it.

Back on Fat Smash - 1st day
All right: Official Fat Smash end of Phase 1 weigh in: 7 lbs lost! I am thrilled with that result! Only 25 more to go to reach my first goal... By may 15th. Totally a reasonable accomplishment! (Yea, Me!)

Back on Fat Smash - 1st day
You can do this! I am on day 8. It was not nearly as difficult as I thought it would be. I can't wait to get on the scale tomorrow! I can tell something good has happened - I feel more slender. And make sure you check out the recipes in the "Kitchen" - there are a bunch of super delicious one's perfect for Phase 1.

normal to feel weak?
On day 4 I had the same thing - I was so tired I just had to nap. But on Day 5 I upped my calorie intake just a bit and it seems to have taken care of it. Oh, and I ate the brown rice for lunch instead of dinner since I was more active in the day time than I am in the evening. Good luck!

I am doing the original fat smash - a friend has the book and we are sharing it. I think it is fabulous. You can get the book on Amazon.com.

Substitution for Smoothie?
I made my smoothie this morning with raspberries, strawberries, 1/3 cup plain yogurt, 1/3 cup soy milk, a banana, and 1/2 cup uncooked instant plain oatmeal. Not too sweet, lasted until lunch.

iGoogle sync
NEVERMIND!! I am a bonehead! I was on the tab for the gadget, not on the Google homepage. Not only have I found the settings button, but they have sucessfully linked. Thank you so much, Bindy for your help. And a note to others trying to do this: When you have the option to save or overwrite your calender history, overwrite it if the info you have is on iGoogle, save it if the info is inputted in fatsecret.com.

iGoogle sync
My gadget doesn't seem to have this option at all. The bottom box is only History, and the only clicky spots are for "Edit last journal entry" and "Weigh in"... maybe this is just an impossibility for me.

iGoogle sync
Maybe I'm not really in the right place - on my iGoogle home page I click on "My account" in the upper right corner. On the page that comes up I click on iGoogle "settings" Then the only options for the Food and Calorie Counter is to share it or delete it.

iGoogle sync
I am beginning to think I am a bit technologically retarded. I can't figure out how to sync my iGoogle App with this site. I found the iGoogle settings page, but no where on it is a choice to update the settings nor enter my user name and password, as described on other threads. I would welcome any and all advise on this matter. Thanks!

Errr, you are on the website now? Do you mean the info you submitted on the (stolen) phone? Unless the application on the phone and the web account were synched, then I don't think you can.

food calander
Put the food in a Recipe (far right). then once that is done, you can add it to your plan. Otherwise, you can put the components in, but better to do recipes.

Veggies, veggies and more veggies. The more I eat the more I lose! I've been making lots of soup with lots of veggies and ground turkey or cubed cooked chicken.
