Don't be a stranger!
I've been careful just because with linkedin and facebook profiles out there, I really don't want people from my day-to-day work world to find out how much I'm eating and drinking. I don't mind sharing these facts with you guys, but gosh, a guy from work looked over my shoulder at my fitbit entry and said, "Wow, 1800 calories! You eat a lot!"

Today was the day
I'm living your pain. Since straying seriously during the holidays, I've been having a hard time getting back on track. But we have to see this as a lifelong journey, not a diet, so that one day--or even one moment--is not going to make or break us. We just keep going. I agree with Dani in just going on with dinner as if no slip happened.

Starting Atkins in January!
If you don't mind plowing through a book, I would recommend Why We Get Fat by Gary Taubes. It will explain the principles behind Atkins. Please don't listen to the naysayers, read the literature on the subject and make an informed decision by yourself.

On which day should I "enter food" when I eat after midnight?
I think it helps psychologically to put it on the earlier day. That way you get to start the morning with a clean slate.

Muffin in a Minute With Less Flaxseed
Hi, has anyone successfully tried making a MIM with just two tablespoons flaxseed, 1/2 beaten egg and 1/4 tsp baking powder? Reason I ask is I just had a regular one for the first time and I can definitely feel it is way too much flaxseed to start out with! Bloated and uncomfortable...
