Welcome JazzyOwl...there's lots of people on this site that know what they're talkin' about. I've gotten encouragement just looking at other's sites and profiles. I look at what they are eating for meals and snacks and get ideas. Lots of people I admire on this site for staying committed. Good luck on your journey...and again, welcome!!

Carbs
Try adding more protein...lean meats (chicken, pork chops, lean ground beef, steak) and low fat cheese. There's even a yogurt called Carbmaster that's really good and low in carbs. Light string cheese is a good snack. Get more veggies in there and use LITE dressings with no more than 3 carbs a serving (ranch and ceasar are my fav). I like to make scrambled eggs with 1 egg and liquid egg whites (in a carton) to add more protein. Look for some Atkins bars for occasional snacks, too. They got some really good ones when you feel like a sweet! Good Luck...Mary.

How do you add a food (from a restaurant) when you only know the calories but not the nutritional in
Thanx for your help...I tried both! I found the item online from the restaurant but it doesn't list everything FatSecret wants for it to enter...like protein, fiber and a few other things. Soooo frustrating!

I want to enter my dinner from a restaurant in "foods" but I don't have the nutritional information...only the calories. Does anyone know if that is possible to do?

Change Diet?
You sure can...go to "My Toolbox" on the right. You will see "Change My Diet." Hope that helps!

Grams, Calories, & Pie Charts, oh my!
I was thinking the same- so far today I've eaten: Fat 36 Carb 195 Prot 102: Cals total 813 and it says 60% carb, 40% fat and 0% fat on the chart...surely that can't be right! I'm vegetarian ...
