My Ravenous Teens Are Eating All My Food!
Or store your snacks in another room that they're not likely to go to, like your bedroom... or better still; the laundry room? ;-)

Frozen shoulder!!
Have you been to a doctor? I had that last year, went to the doctor; he gave me an injection but it didn't help and I ended up doing physical therapy for 2 months... but that's only because I left it so long before going to the doctor. If I had gone earlier, he would have had me doing some basic shoulder exercises (e.g. stand in the middle of a doorway and place your arm against the door frame then slowly 'walk' your arm up the perimeter of the door frame, reaching as high you can go and then 'walk' it back down again). Definitely go to a doctor; he'll recommend a physical therapist, if needed, and give you something to cope with the pain. Good luck!!

What's an easy way to get more *protein* into my diet?
Lovely, thanks Nimm for the clarification! Is there any way (in general) to tell from nutrition labels how many "active" carbs they have? Oh wait, is this what people refer to as "net carbs"? Thanks!

@Nimm, I just followed the link you posted to the Quest Bar and those bars have about 25g of carbs with an illustration that claims they have 2g of "active carbs". What on earth are 'active carbs'? And if only 2g are real carbs, then what the heck are the remaining 23g? Apologies for my ignorance in the science of carbohydrates :-)

digital scales HELP!
I'd highly recommend the Salter scale --> http://www.amazon.com/Salter-1... You can "zero" it at any point while weighing stuff and there are a tonne of different measurement types. It's a couple of years old now, never had a problem with it. There may be fancier ones now on the market but that little one has served us well. The only drawback is that if you place a large bowl/dish on it, it's difficult to then read the display. But Amazon's a great source for researching stuff like that and reading other people's reviews...

I second that! Couldn't get my daily water quota in without it!

Almost 40
Hey look on the bright side... putting it on is no problem at all so at least something's gotten easier! ;-)

How big were you when you met your partner?
I don't remember what I weighed when I met my hubby but we got married 13 months ago and since then, he's put on 33lb and I've put on 50lb. :-(

WW Points -- Kinda Sorta Back?
Healsdata, you're a life-saver! Thank you so much for the work you've done on this. Very thoughtful of you indeed. I did have to fumble around to get it to show up because I'm new to Firefox & Greasemonkey but for others new to this like me, you will need to right-click on the monkey icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and select "Manage user-scripts"... Thanks again! *Raises a 1 point beer in Healsdata's honour!* Cheers! p.s. I already pay my $40 a month for WW so please, no flames about stealing! :-) p.p.s. I'm running Windows 7 and it works fine...
