The starvation mode thing is just a myth. Just read the Starvation response entry in wiki or any medical text. I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just encourage everyone to learn the science behind it. If anyone knows of some scientific study that shows that im wrong, please let me know.

Strength Training for Women
The only muscular bulky women are body builders that train for years to look like that. Also they are taking testosterone injections. Women do not naturally produce enough testosterone to produce that amount of lean muscle mass (usually). Hell, even in the off season a lot of women bodybuilders get the body fat % back to a normal range and don't look too bulky at all.

As strange as it might sound, try a dill pickle. Something about the crucnhy, salty, vinigar of a pickle kills the hell out of my sweet tooth.

Tips for staying on track while dining out
If I have a planned dinner with family, I fast for most of the day. That way, even if I gorge on 2k calories at that meal, I am still well within my calorie limit.
