RE: 1000 calorie issue. I have to agree with Chickie9999 - everyone is different. Body chemistry is as different to individuals as the color of eyes can be. Ask the people around you what kind of pain relievers work for them and what doesn't. It all comes down to your own body chemistry. I have been known to get migrane headaches, and yet Excedrine Migrane doesn't work for me. Alieve, and an ice bag (aleve..?) does. Go figure. I think it's more about the quality of the calorie than the amount. If what you are eating is good nutrition, but low in calories, well, isn't that the point? Still, great information Ambition! Got us all thinking and motivated!

How to measure bacon calories/macros in a recipe?
I think if you select "bacon (cured)" its the raw version .. because all the others listed there say they are cooked?? But I'm not so sure. I also saw an entry for "1 oz raw bacon ...

What would you tell your 16 year old self?
I would say: eat what you want but work out as much as you can. Study hard and try to find some job that you really like. Travel anytime it is possible. And buy some bitcoins and start mining :lol:
