Am I doing something wrong?
Adriana is right. A lot of people dont realize we're only allowed 3 sweetners a day. They also cause sugar cravings in some people. Exercise will definitely help too.

Also be careful of veggies and dip. Make sure to measure your vegetables (those carbs can add up quicklu) and be VERY aware of whats in the dip. A lot of store brought products have hiddens sugars/carbs. I suggest you find one you can make yourself so you know EXACTLY what's in it.

You may want to alter your menu. A lot of people stall when they eat MIMs and Atkins bars/shakes. I know I do. I use them sparlingly on Induction. I suggest you take out the bacon (most have nitrates), dairy and Atkins bars/shakes. Slowly introduce each back into your diet, then you can figure out which is the cluprit.

Also, be careful w/ the flaxseed meal. I believe it is 100% fiber. If not, its very close. Drink plenty of water or you'll be constipated. And start slow, approx 2 TBSP/day, because it will make you VERY regular, if you know what I mean lol.

I'd look into getting some flaxseed meal. There are so many extremely low carb recipies you can find using flaxseed meal, including crackers, bread, pizza crust, oatmeal, etc..... Its also a great for getting in your fiber and Omega 3s

Ok, I just double checked. Its 2-3TBSP of heavy or light cream allowed per day.

Soy sauce is fine, but you still need to watch the carb count. I suggest you make your own salad dressing because there is usually sugar in the store brands. I have a Ceasar dressing in my menus that I use all the time. Its less then 2 carbs in an entire cup. There are low carb dressings you can purchase, but I personally prefer to know exactly what's in my food. Aslo, cream is fine. I believe you are allowed 2 TBSP/day. It could be 4. This I am not 100% sure about, so to be safe, I'd stick with 2 for now. And remember, as far as your sweetner, only 3 Splenda/day.

Gravy on atkins
I've never seen a gravy that was made w/o flour or cornstarch so thats a big NO. There are low carb sauces you can make.....but stay away from gravy. There are low carb thickening products that can be used once you are no longer on the Induction phase.

Carb Cycling?
[b]I was wondering if anyone had information about carb cycling. I've been having a lot of trouble loosing for about 2 months now. I have researched and tried a few remedies, but none seemed to work as well for me as it did for others. During my "investigating" I came upon Carb Cycling. It sounds interesting. Atkins vs South Beach
You should get the book. Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution. I saw it on Amazon.com yesterday for only a penny. There are so many things in the book that you wouldn't evevn think to ask. Make sure to read it from cover to cover. Good Luck!

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I record my weight on Friday mornings for consistency, once a week. I may step on the scale just to assess where I am between weekly weigh ins, but never let those "mid-week" numbers discourage ...
