Dialysis
Being on a renal diet will be extra challenging. In your case you will have to ignore all the post to push fluids! I think you are on the right track by getting rid of the white bread & bad carbs. You can do this! It won't be easy, but you can do it! You are worth it!

50 LB WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE - WELCOME
My activity goal for this challenge is for 210 minutes week. My wake up call came when my Mother nearly had a heart attack last May. She had to have a heart cath and received a stent. She also has lung problems. My dad died when he was 42 of a heart attack. I was overweight, had high cholestrol, sedendary & getting bigger fast. I am an emotional eater. I felt ashamed & embarrassed. Here I am a nurse whose entire career has been dealing with cardiac patients. I was headed in that direction myself! Also, I run a small heart failure clinic. I was embarrassed just wondering what my patients were thinking as I weighed them and talked to them about ways to keep their weight (fluid) steady so they didn't go into heart failure. It was on my mind daily that I had to make changes. My husband does all the cooking. He loves to cook (& eat). We kept discussing eating better....one day I came home and we were having a good fattening dinner. Afterwards, I felt so bad....I "threw down" the law that we were going to make changes! He got on board and we have been doing so much better ever since. He has lost over 30 pounds & I am 20+ since the first of the year. Cheryl

The Name Game
Here's a fun song from the 1960's. Put your name in & have some fun! If you don't remember the song go to youtube. Your kids will love it too! The Name Game! Shirley! Shirley, Shirley bo Birley Bonana fanna fo Firley Fee fy mo Mirley, Shirley! Lincoln! Lincoln, Lincoln bo Bincoln Bonana fanna fo Fincoln Fee fy mo Mincoln, Lincoln! Come on everybody! I say now let's play a game I betcha I can make a rhyme out of anybody's name The first letter of the name, I treat it like it wasn't there But a B or an F or an M will appear And then I say bo add a B then I say the name and Bonana fanna and a fo And then I say the name again with an F very plain and a fee fy and a mo And then I say the name again with an M this time and there isn't any name that I can't rhyme Arnold! Arnold, Arnold bo Barnold Bonana fanna fo Farnold Fee fy mo Marnold Arnold! But if the first two letters are ever the same, I drop them both and say the name like Bob, Bob drop the B's Bo ob For Fred, Fred drop the F's Fo red For Mary, Mary drop the M's Mo ary That's the only rule that is contrary. Okay? Now say Bo: Bo Now Tony with a B: Bony Then Bonana fanna fo: bonana fanna fo Then you say the name again with an F very plain: Fony Then a fee fy and a mo: fee fy mo Then you say the name again with an M this time: Mony And there isn't any name that you can't rhyme Every body do Tony! Pretty good, let's do Billy! Very good, let's do Marsha! A little trick with Nick! The name game
