Best tasting protein drinks?
I really want to start adding in a low sugar, low in fat, high protein shake, but I don't know which one actually taste as well as dissolve well. Any suggestions?

Wine!
Thank you! just adjusting how I'm eating and lower calories as well as not going to high with carbs. In the past I did atkins, and even when I was in the later phases when your allowed to have a glass occasionally I would have 1-2 glasses and stall for about 1-2 weeks. I guess not being use to actually doing this in a maintainable way I just am unsure about almost everything. I think I will have one as a treat this weekend with my hubby. He's been gone for almost a months so I know we will be in the celebration mood. LOL

Wine!
Since I've started my weight loss I haven't had any alcohol, but this weekend I would like to have a glass of red wine. I plan to keep it within my calories, but I am so scared to let myself have a glass. I am worried about gaining or maybe making my cravings kick back up! Any thoughts?

I would go to amusement parks, go caving, and my biggest goal since I was 18 be able to SKY DIVE!!! And wear shorts and feel like they look good again!

Hunger
Those are great ways to avoid the night cravings but what about the mental aspect of craving? I try to not snack at night but it takes all I have not to! I am an emotional eater and at night oh my! I'm trying to work through it but it's tough!

Looking for a Diet Buddy similar to me!
I'd love to be your buddy! I'm 27 and a mommy of two girls 3 and 4 and I have a step son who is 8. Now I am a stay at home mommy but only as of 8 months ago. I use to be a single mommy working full time with my 2 girls. Actually that is what aided in my weight gain. Before I was full time I was 220 then I started working and got up to 304. The stress of working and being a mommy was a lot.

It sounds like your doing great and the right workout it will reduce. Congratulations on your success! Some times we get so caught up in all the different number with weight loss that we forget, the benefits go beyond that. Your doing great!

Kinda Discouraged
I agree don't get discouraged. Maybe you just haven't found the exact right balance in calories, fat, and carbs. If you slowly work on it you'll find what works for your body! I had done atkins this summer for 3 months and only lost 10 lbs working out 5 days a week. Atkins was what I used to always do so I was surprised when it was so slow when I was trying so hard! Well I gave up. I regret it, but now I found a balance that is working so far. Give it time your going to do great!

It's great to have people to motivate! @ cohawke Welcome to FS as well. I love this site already, and frankly I'm addicted. LOL FS won't let me request anyone now, maybe it will change tomorrow. It did that last night to but next day it let me. I would enjoy being buddies if you want to send me a request. I'm sure that will work.

Yay! I'm not the only one who has some kind of issues with veggies! Such a relief I'm not the only one out there. I always use to mince veggies in anything that was ground. Turkey, lite sausage, lean beef, anything. I even use to combine potato mash with some cauliflower mash. I've just gotten to lazy about it!

For some reason every technique for hiding veggies makes me laugh! Gotta love needing to use these on myself just like I do for my 3 and 4 yr old. Who am I kidding I can be just a big kid so no surprise. LOL

Hi erika, HA HA HA HA funny thing is I have that one! I use to do that before I started gaining back and I got lazy hence the huge gain. It's great advice to start using those again. I will be adding you. Thanks for the support!

My answer to water retention is Alfalfa Tabs. I take 3 a day and find they are a natural diuretic and work great for me. No more water balloons.
