Sonoma vs. Mediterranean
Sonoma is much more structured and considered as a diet than just eating healthy mediterranean. It is much more of a roadmap to better eating habits and in doing so you can lose weight, safely and while enjoying what you eat. Working for me so far.

Pre-menstral HUNGER
Join the club! I indulge in some low fat yogurt or ice cream when those cravings kick in. Have not found a way to bypass them. The WW icecreams are good, portioned controlled as well. :)

Celebrity Fit Club 5
Well at least that's something to look forward to...wonder if the celebs plump up beforehand or whether it's taped well in advance.

Water...
How can you tell whether you're retaining water. I drink a lot of water...bottles everywhere...but I've never stopped to think about how much is being retained and how to stop retaining it...:)

new here
I am interested in this Curves diet, to me it sounds like it is more focused on exercise and less on eating, can it really be a long term plan. Also the initial 2 week phase seems highly restricive/scary. Please tell us how you get on. Tx

Calorie Burning Coke Coming Soon
I'd like to see that... somehow I have my doubts that loading up with soda could actually be good for you

Plate & Bowl
Portion control has always been a problem of mine. Am not the biggest fan of the plate and bowl though. I need to bet my tummy to speak to my brain better...because there's always the delay between eating and feeling full.

Ready, Willing and (hopefully) Able
Welcome aboard firechic. I've always wanted to be a fire fighter, how cool. I love food too but I'm hoping I can love it without compromizing my weight and health.

Resisting the mid-morning unhealthy snack
While not technically a 'Special Dieting Situtation', I wanted to know if people who get their day started really early find that they end up having a sugary comfort food type snack around 10-11 o'clock. I usually have a piece of fruit in the afternoon but am not sure how to replace my cookie/danish fix mid-morning? Looking for some ideas pleeeze :)

Eating for pleasure
I'll take your word on it. Will still keep an eye on calories, just can't help myself.

Eating for pleasure
The idea sounds wonderful but do you really think in the fast paced world we live in today that you can enjoy your meals and forget about calorie counting. Is the concept realistic or am I just being too simplistic in the way I'm looking at it.

Get Cooking
I hope everyone liked the 6 or so recipes I added over the last couple of days that I can see have been published on the site. The recipe builder thingy is a little unusual and takes a couple of entries to get used to but once you're in the swing it's pretty easy :) So once you've entered the recipe you get to see the calories and other nutrition info which is handy and then people get to vote on whether it is good for their diet with a star rating (5 is best). I hope you liked them... if so please add to your cookbook, more to come.

Feel great without having to count calories or limit food intake!
You are sure getting some support for your diet, I'll have to take a closer look and maybe create my own.

Get Cooking
Come on folks there's a real need for some more recipes, so while you take the time to feed yourself, take the time to feed your friends and create some recipes, especially some low carb options :) I'm going to get cracking or should that be cookin now. :!:

How often should I eat?
Hi there. You can sleep as long as you like. A diet should never get in the way of your sleep patterns.

many say not to weigh everyday but I seem to anyway. Keeps me focused and on track. just realize that when you do your body weight does vary a bit. Don't get worked up over it.
