It sounds like hypoglycemia. I have it. Make sure you eat every 2 to 4 hours. Eat high protein and low carbohydrates.

Fell of the wagon for a week
Are you drinking enough water? How is your salt consumption? When I crave sweets I drink a glass of water and if still craving I eat a pickle. Usually does the trick. If not I eat a few pieces of fruit.
