try clicking on that activity in your exercise diary. It should bring up the specifics and allow you to change the time in much the same way as you can change the amount of food in your food diary.

Advice for beginning healthy eating for weight loss
All diets are CICO. If a certain way of eating makes your calorie goals easier to stick to then try it.
